Stay Human – Staying Human When the World Goes Crazy

Spread the love

Listen to the song also on: Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube

We live in an age where the word peace It seems to have become a utopia and simply remaining human an act of madness. 🌍

Palestine and Gaza, from Ukraine to Africa, the names change but the tragedy remains the same: innocents sacrificed in power games, if not actual genocides.

Precisely for this reason, the song Stay Human of our album Divergent Tales (released last year), today sounds even more urgent and necessary. It's not just a song: it's a plea, a cry, a reminder not to lose the light within us.

Here is the text, translated into Italian:

In the corridors of power, where shadows creep,
immense figures play a dark game.
With a roll of the dice they decide fate,
of invisible lives, an unbearable weight.

Whispers echo in the marble palaces,
every word a move, while the darkness calls.
The innocent become mere pawns,
while the powerful lose their way.

They climb so high, they touch the sky,
but they lose their soul in the blink of an eye.
The crown weighs, the throne is a cage,
as they sign their names on the page of history.

Remain human, facing the night,
hold on to what is right and proper.
Don't let the darkness consume your light,
Stay human, keep fighting.

The hammer falls and silence reigns,
the cry of a child, the pain of a mother.
Orders given without second thoughts,
for the lives of those who fought.

An illusion of grandeur, a divine trance,
believing they had the world in their hands.
But every empire collapses, every kingdom ends,
and among the ruins, what message will remain?

Stay human, don't lose heart,
In the end we all have a part.
In this world that can divide us,
Stay human, that's where we start again.

Can you hear the prayer in the wind?
It's a call to get up, to mend.
To remember the strength within us,
to choose life, to defend it.

Stay human, is our prayer,
for a world where we are all free.
In the face of tyranny,
Stay human, let it be.

So when the night is cold and you're left alone,
remember the love you've always known.
In the heart of humanity, let it shine:
Stay human, it's set in stone.

80 Hundred Miles – Who we are

We were born as a "long-distance" trio:

  • Ricky – The Italian Rocker, 50 years old, rock soul who carries with him the immortal vibrations of the 70s and 80s.
  • Michal- The Dutch Maestro, 32 years old, alchemist of electronics and experimentation.
  • Michiko – The Japanese Metalhead, 27 years old, pure metal energy that sets every riff on fire.

And then the family, during the trip, increased:

  • Nguyet, 42 years old from Vietnam, multi-instrumentalist, rhythmic soul and guitarist with an unbreakable groove.
  • Cody, 18 years old from the United States, a young virtuoso of the solo guitar, with a freshness that pushes one's gaze towards the future.

Our name is 80 Hundred Miles Because distance divides us, but it is precisely that distance that gives us strength: it demonstrates that music has no boundaries, neither of space, nor of age, nor of style.

Our values are simple, yet radical:

  • Staying human in a world that pushes us to forget it.
  • Building bridges instead of walls.
  • Singing diversity as harmony.

Every note is a step that brings us closer. Every song is a declaration of resistance.

👉 I close the post with an invitation:

“If you also believe that staying human is the only true revolution, listen to Stay Human. Share it. And, above all, live it.”
