Eight tracks, one for each day, from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. I didn&#039;t want the usual whispered church choir: I wanted sweat, blood, doubt, and glory.<a href=\"https:\/\/ppl-ai-file-upload.s3.amazonaws.com\/web\/direct-files\/attachments\/12245311\/d91a9f66-70bb-4926-a17c-767c5c8635c4\/Otto-Giorni.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seed of this musical madness was planted years ago by a culture shock called&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jesus_Christ_Superstar_(film)\">Jesus Christ Superstar<\/a><\/em>. That masterpiece taught me a fundamental lesson: singing about faith in a &quot;rock&quot; style is not only possible, but it restores to the evangelical narrative all its raw, human, and theatrical power. I wanted to take that inspiration and translate it into my own style, with psychedelic guitar riffs, odd time signatures, and prog atmospheres (remember when we talked about it in my interview with Metal FM about Symphonic Reverie?), combined with more intimate acoustic ballads.<a href=\"https:\/\/ppl-ai-file-upload.s3.amazonaws.com\/web\/direct-files\/attachments\/12245311\/d91a9f66-70bb-4926-a17c-767c5c8635c4\/Otto-Giorni.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"le-otto-tracce-analisi-di-un-viaggio-spirituale-e\">The Eight Tracks: Analysis of a Spiritual and Musical Journey<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#039;s how I structured this trip, day by day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"1-domenica-cantate-osanna\">1. Sunday:&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/playlist-link-diretto-se-vuoi\">Sing Hosanna<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type:<\/strong>&nbsp;70&#039;s Rock (in pure JCS style)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cAnd you sing &#039;Hosanna,&#039; but I see beyond, \/ beyond the day, beyond the sun. \/ You seek a king who will save you, \/ but the road is harder than you think.\u2018<\/em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ppl-ai-file-upload.s3.amazonaws.com\/web\/direct-files\/attachments\/12245311\/d91a9f66-70bb-4926-a17c-767c5c8635c4\/Otto-Giorni.pdf\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrast here is the song&#039;s core. While the crowd waves palms and cheers a political liberator, Jesus advances on a humble beast, knowing those same voices will demand his death. Monday:&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/playlist-link-diretto-se-vuoi\">The Carpenter<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type:<\/strong>&nbsp;Christian Rock \/ Prog Rock<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cSaint Joseph, master of silence, \/ I would like to be like you. \/ With courage in the darkness, among the flames of the world, \/ Protect those you love, without asking why.\u201d<\/em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ppl-ai-file-upload.s3.amazonaws.com\/web\/direct-files\/attachments\/12245311\/d91a9f66-70bb-4926-a17c-767c5c8635c4\/Otto-Giorni.pdf\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted to dedicate Monday to the most underrated figure of all: Saint Joseph. This prog rock song is a hymn to those who work in the shadows. Joseph has no lines in the Gospels, but his silent &quot;doing&quot; is the backbone of the Holy Family. It&#039;s a tribute to duty, sweat, and manual labor, a visceral theme that, as you well know from my adventures at InoxTubi, I feel incredibly close to.<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ppl-ai-file-upload.s3.amazonaws.com\/web\/direct-files\/attachments\/12245311\/d91a9f66-70bb-4926-a17c-767c5c8635c4\/Otto-Giorni.pdf\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-marted-salve-regina\">3. Tuesday:&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/playlist-link-diretto-se-vuoi\">Hail Holy Queen<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Type:<\/strong>&nbsp;Acoustic Rock<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u201cHail, Queen! \/ Mother of mercy, \/ our life, our sweetness, and our hope, \/ hail.\u201d<\/em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ppl-ai-file-upload.s3.amazonaws.com\/web\/direct-files\/attachments\/12245311\/d91a9f66-70bb-4926-a17c-767c5c8635c4\/Otto-Giorni.pdf\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking one of the most ancient and solemn prayers and stripping it down to become an acoustic rock piece. Theatrical atmospheres, tense orchestrations, and dramatic vocals explore the mind of Judas Iscariot. The poignant guitar solo intertwines with blues scales and psychedelic atmospheres to depict the agony and weight of every single nail. Eight steps through dust, sweat, betrayal, and, finally, light. Writing, composing, and performing this album wasn&#039;t just an exercise in musical style, but a visceral journey into the grandest and most complex story ever told.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you are a staunch believer, an unrepentant atheist or simply a seeker of beauty (and you know that here on&nbsp;<em>RickyVerso<\/em>&nbsp;We seek beauty everywhere, and if we don&#039;t find it, we create it), I hope these notes can resonate with you.
