There are nights when sleep slips away regularly and others when the mind decides to start the engines<\/strong> before the alarm clock even dares to ring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It all began on Tuesday evening, in the most banal and domestic setting imaginable. I had just put my motorcycle away and it was time to put my wife's car in the garage. To hurry and avoid having my hands cluttered with stuff, I adopted the classic lazy biker solution: I kept my helmet and gloves on<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sitting in the driver's seat of the quiet, Smurf-colored hatchback, dressed like a decidedly dazed Grand Prix driver, the mirror gave me a surreal view. Taking that selfie was an instinctive reflex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A quick snap, posted on WhatsApp to bring a smile to the face of those in need. A laugh and goodnight<\/em>, I thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 5:00 alarm clock<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

While I was sleeping, my brain continued to work in the background. five in the morning<\/strong>, punctual as clockwork, my eyes widened on the dark ceiling of the room. No nightmares, no heavy thoughts: just a clear, visceral idea, knocking forcefully to escape from my skull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That photo couldn't remain a simple chat prank. It called for a story. It demanded asphalt, drifts, smoke and a healthy dose of grotesque<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, while the house was still shrouded in silence and the dark blue of dawn dominated outside, I sat down at my desk in front of my Mac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taming the Algorithm: Between Pixelmator and Omni Flash<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first step was to prepare the raw material on Pixelmator<\/strong>: a calibrated use of light, a push for contrast to enhance the wide-eyed gaze behind the visor and the texture of the perforated leather gloves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Immediately after I fed the image to Omni Flash 1.1<\/strong>, initiating a dialogue with the algorithm. The goal was crystal clear: transform me and my wife's car into the protagonists of a furious rally<\/em>, launched at breakneck speed in a desperate race against time to get to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone who believes artificial intelligence does everything on its own has probably never tried to craft a coherent narrative out of it. It's a matter of millimeters: correct the prompt, change a verb, adjust the framing, find the right trajectory. After several attempts, I extracted four clips of approximately ten seconds each<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each contained spectacular visual insights alternating with glaring flaws: a plastic frame, unnatural acceleration, a computational glitch. No segment was perfect enough to remain intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that's where the real craft fun begins.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
